A new day…

The clouds make way,
for the sun to make a smooth appearance,
as the golden ball emerges,
and envelopes the darkness of night,
moving slowly,
bringing to life,
mere mortals on land,
who wake up with the sun’s first rays,
and the birds,
that sing in Divine praise,
and chirp away the morning song,
the flowers that blossom,
of all colours and shapes,
shining of morning dew,
smelling of beauty and life;
the golden ball smiles down,
at all the songs,
breathes in the fragrances,
follows the motion,
that marks a new day;
that marks life!
