A Note To Chelsea And Matthew Poem by Mike Mendoza

A Note To Chelsea And Matthew

A day without some shine
Can leave the blind sublime
With every dead guy
I see the news come by
Find my place find my center
Friends you wished or thought would enter
It's embarrassing
To tell you the truth
I live up to the name
It goes even further than shame

You were a close one
Thought we tied up the loose ends
But still hear a beat on the drums
Going back and forth
Makes me wanna run

I'm empty
Fencing
Ending up heavy
Lonely
Someone told me
You'd leave me rolling
While your posting
Nonsense and conflicts
Have people held up
But only one hostage
Over one beef
People don't read or remember
The tender days before December
Later I sent you to your mother

Chelsea
Apparently you still have issues with me
It seems you don't respect me
Or understand me entirely
Can't blame you though
Who can?
Not only me
But everyone else at hand
You have friends
Money
Family
Company
Backup
Support
All I can't afford

Do you know what it's like when you have no friends?
Before I met you
I was truly stranded
Abandoned
No one would want to send a soul my way
But today
You won't end
With your comments
And what stemmed
From our start
I'm glad we're apart
I can't stand you
You and Matthew
Like a virus
What can I do?
