A Number, Remembered- Poem by Deb Panda

A Number, Remembered-

Infinity I call the numbers-
And indiscreetly it loved
To melodious plot before-
That day and thoroughly trounced
It pressed the call, and flew-
To fervent sound grueling tale,
Change the Call, If ever heard-
Or would it change? Love this-
He said, “NO Just Past-”
In resilience, in depth of heart
Jammed-that tried to jump away
With miles speed; upon the cart.
-“ I would as you sought it-
Not as you threw away”
“And love the lone, not me -
To dust be Painted to mine -
As the gloom-less queen, I dare,
Cast them down -as I agree.”
He said, “Admire, fare in all ages turn-’’
And truth would love; no truth;
Who has long played, blood-bath in holy,
Wouldn’t be yours, husband; of Worth!
