A Poem Of The Seasons Poem by Matthew Buck

A Poem Of The Seasons

Rating: 4.0

During Christmas, we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus. I'm here to tell you that:
My trust isn't placed in a baby born in Bethlehem whom the angels sing, but it's placed in The Man that died in Calvary to be my King
My faith isn't placed in a baby that Herod failed to kill, but it's placed in The Man that Pilot handed over to the Romans on Skull Hill.
My Salvation doesn't come from a baby that three wise men brought frankincense, gold and murr, but in the Man who gave up His life so I could be made pure.
I don't live my life for a baby, born on Christmas, when he took His first breath, but instead, I live my life for the Man, Risen on Easter, and showed us how He conquered death!
