A Prayer To God
Almighty God of endless love,
Compassion, forgiveness!
O awesome God from Heaven above,
Who made all things with love!
Omnipotent and Creator
Of things, known and unknown!
O Lord of Lords and King of Kings,
The fairest, wisest Judge!
I thank You from the depths of heart
For giving me this birth;
I praise You for your concern, care
For blessings, gifts and mirth.
Just make this vessel overflow
With things you want, o’er brim;
Do help me win the war against
Devils who make life dim!
And take me to Your own abode
To pass eternity!

So it makes sense to occasionally kneel When adversity cometh as a bolt from the blue And when suffering maketh you reel Its time to stick to God like glue ( Good poem sir - keep writing)
