A carpet of snow covers the town,
Glittering when the sun rides high,
Roof tops flash in handsome settings
Beneath the azure-velvet sky.
Evergreen trees, proud and regal
Adorn the hills for many miles,
Colorful decorations within the town
Emit a welcome home with smiles.
On crowded trains and many vehicles
Come the wanderers back this day
To join in the jewel-like festivities
On this prominent Holiday.
Smiling faces glow upon their arrival,
Signs of jubilance is prevalent everywhere,
Now a statement of gratitude is added
To each zealous Holiday prayer.
