A Rich Lifestyle Poem by Randy McClave

A Rich Lifestyle

They said that he gave up his rich lifestyle
When I heard that I did laugh and smile,
Because, he never did change his way of living
To the poor and the middle-class he still wasn't giving.
He wanted to always stay rich
And from that belief and thought he would never switch,
He wanted to be a dictator or even a king
More than anything.
He played golf at least every five days
And still the people worshipped him and gave him praise,
And he still ran his own personal business
Which dealt with foreign countries which was a conflict of interest.
He never paid the taxes that he owed
And high paying government jobs to his family he bestowed,
He spent the tax payers money while in charge
And all that he did was was to charge, charge, charge.
He enjoyed spending the countries money
And of course he thought it was very funny
Because, he was use to financially helping the wealthy and him
And never ever helping the poor or the working class, them.
As president he received at least $7.8 million dollars
Which is illegal spoke by all the constitutional scholars,
From foreign governments and royalty the money was sent
Never to Congress or to the American people did he seek consent.
He never spent one penny out of his own pocket
Him and his wealth was always number one on the docket,
And he still would never donate to charity a single dime
Because, he was and still is slime.
They said that his rich lifestyle he had given up
And instead of a crystal glass he then drank from a paper cup,
And this I say with truth and patriotism and guile
As president he never gave up his rich lifestyle.
