A Rose Knows
Yes, the Rose knows,
What a Rose should know,
That on a single stem,
Perfume and thorns grow.
This a beautiful little poem with a great deal of emotional sentiment underlying it. Thanks for sharing it Sandra.
Rose know absolutely but man doesn't. So many stems but it breeding simply death and cruelty! Good short.

The dichotomy of beauty and potential pain of the loveliest of flowers. Known to the flower of itself but escaping most humans' grasp. As perfect a poem as I have ever read. Thank you so much, Sandra.
