A Safe Port In The Storm Poem by Antonio Liao

A Safe Port In The Storm

Rating: 5.0

leads me where I 'll go,
the dark makes me blind and my cool skin
hurt me to wound, look my warm
body tells and
remind me the dungeon gate is open

why should I miss
yesterday when I found today
the color of
your skin, has the horizon takes it course
beneath the sunset for what makes it
clear is the
dusk fall to the East

open the Pandora tentacle of the box,
the alluring patience
of Hercules settle down the minds of
every heart and the garrison
of Egypt understand
the meaning of Love and devotion
