A Sea Of Memories Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Sea Of Memories

Rating: 5.0

I write my soul away
It makes me pass the day
In loneliness,
Time's penitence,
That silently does stay.

The silence of yourself alone,
In painful absence, bounds
The love that once was golden throne,
Now silent from all sounds.

I can't even go down to Sea,
The Sea I love so much!
All I have left are memories,
That crumble at their touch.

A heart-felt poem that speaks to the soul of loneliness. Within the memories of that soul is the soul of love. Allowing it to surface, brings immeasurable happiness. Sandra, your poetry is so brilliantly working towards that goal. Thank you for this gift.

Loneliness understands patience of time. In silence we feel life very much. Both love and pain in memory. In silence going back to past time we analyse these and feel emotion. You love sea very much and sea's memories crumble to touch you. Sometimes we see deterioration and sometimes change. You have shared amazing idea in this poem that mesmerizes reader. We still keep memories...10
