A Thin Shell Moon Poem by Stephanie Eve Kane Arado

A Thin Shell Moon

A thin shell moon
Floats in midnight blue
Illuminating slightly
A dwarf’s limestone mine
Turned inside out
White solid hedges
Keep everyone inside
Dollips of crusty ice salt
Remind us that whether
Sterile white winter
Purifies or enrages
Depends on the nature
of one’s heart
