The Sun Moon And Stars – Sonnet #3 Poem by Stephanie Eve Kane Arado

The Sun Moon And Stars – Sonnet #3

Sun Moon and Stars glowingly levitate
High in God’s heaven while the pilgrims wait
For signs and prophecy to be fulfilled
For meaning and knowledge to be revealed
The wait casts shadows of doubt on our minds
Feeding our natures and making us blind
Tempting us to revel in man’s pleasures
Seeking solace, in rare earthly treasures
Pursuing power life long endeavors
Carnal pursuits will never satisfy
Repeat wisdom even when you feel sad
Live in the spirit when your world is bad
God’s blessings abound for those who receive
Be still and know that I am God. Believe.
