'Ho respirato la pena'

Ho respirato la pena
Di quella notte spietata
Quando il destino decise
Di dividerci
Il vento ha cercato disperatamente
Di cancellare i miei sguardi di dolore
Dalle impronte
Lasciate dall'anima tua che si perdeva
Ogni impronta —intrecciata
Ad una colonna precipite
Del mio mondo divino

Of that merciless night
When fate decided
To set us apart
The wind desperately tried
To erase my dying looks
At the footprints
Of your departing soul
Each print is intertwined
With a falling side
Of my celestial world
