A World Without Books Poem by sultan mahmud

A World Without Books

One day the dusty books will be haughty
The whole letter in the fold of the leaf will go up
There will be unwritten white paper
Books will become living skeletons!
The knowledge stored in the heart of man will also rise
Which he carefully acquired
Just like the oyster hides its pearls
That knowledge will fly away in the wrath of God!
Animals will roam the earth
Who is the man? Who is the animal? No one will understand
On that day the king will be naked
The people will march behind the naked king
People will be slaves of instinct
In a world without knowledge, only darkness.
People will want to go back to the book
But by then it will be too late
Jungle beasts will tip the nuclear button
It will be instantly mixed in all the soil
Wise people has never left
The remaining stupid bulls will be left behind
The world smells of the dead - the scent of roses will be forgotten.
