A Writer's Pain Poem by Scofield Burrows

A Writer's Pain

Yeah! it's rhyme time
How hard it is to rhyme and yet make intense sense
I'm not trying to bring rap or pop up
I just want to write right
A real sample poem gem
Oh its so tasking, writing
Should I just stop, give-up?
No, never ever!
Oh! , I’m stuck on line nine
I have to get on with it
I must learn to think quick
However avoiding a haste waste
Oh! This is such a brain drain
I think I need a brain heal pill
To go with a hot spicy meal fill
Oh! I’m rock stuck
I feel still
Searching for a rhyme is like a long hawk walk
The clock is moving, ticking
I'm thinking, searching
All I keep getting is an odd word
I wonder where to copy some from
May be I need to ponder deeper
Wow! I've written enough stuff

So all I pray, is that my poem leaves its critic hypnotic
With a kind mind
If you love this accredit it!

Odd words are the healing plaster to pain and time... well done and welcome to PH. Keep on penning them One Peace at a time...
