Activate the Better You

The trouble with us Is,
That we try to think,
With some unfeeling thing,
Called a Brain,
That does not always guide us,
To the right domain,
It generally gives off evil thoughts,
Of destruction and others slain.

Think with your Soul,
Spiritualize, yourself,
Feel pity, kindness,
Of Love, the finest,
Towards others, brothers
We have but one life to live,
Live it in fullest harmony,
Learn not to take but to Give!

I need to activate a better writing hand! You inspire me.
This reminds me of a self-help book- -not in a bad way tho!
    You seem sincere. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
