Adieu Poem by Jhanessa Aiden

Adieu

In the midst of dangers and toils I face
Through the hours of grief
In the depths of disgrace
I will fight my way back to prevail

I have yelled and cried and screamed
In darkness and distress I am deemed
I bathed in tears and was tortured in my illusion of solace
At a slow pace I'll march back home, my birthplace.

Troubled and wandering in the mid of the night
Dreaming about you fictitious knight!
Horrible uncertainties is my destiny's toll
Unhurriedly, I will obtain my life's parole

I will accept no more regret you'll show
I'll be frank, I'll be brutal i'll be tough
I won't make deals I've had enough!
Guardedly, I will find my way back to rule
