After A Week Of Rain

AFTER A WEEK OF RAIN
After a week of rain
I long for a day of sun
And when it begins
There is happiness in me
All day there will be light
All day there will be a world of being out in the world in pleasure
I will walk and walk
And rest in pleasure also
Oh for the light of the day
And the simple joy that being out in the light gives.
