We gravitate, and culminate.
We wrap around.
Breathe in!
We hide our fears
We wipe our tears
Forget where we
have been.
For family's sake,
We'll keep the ache
and cast away all doubt.
with no more things
my life it seems
is all the better.
Breathe out!
What a clever and honest write. Thought provokinkingly real! Well done.

I like the way all these thoughts and resolutions happen in the time of one deep breath. Deep breathing will defuse the panic attack such traumas provoke so the situation of the poem is quite realistic. There is a progression in the nature of the thoughts the speaker goes through: His first thoughts are about himself, then he is concerned about his family and wants to disguise his panic to be strong for them, finally he considers loss a hidden blessing, and is ready to move on emotionally. It's a stunning poem, whose impact gradually unfolds.
