Langston Hughes once wrote 'life ain't no crystal stairway' and lately I've been finding that to be true. Earlier this year I had to have two of my toes amputated and every day I'm reminded of it with little twinges pain. But I'm learning not to let that pain slow me down because life ain't no crystal stairway but that doesn't mean just because obstacles get in my way I will stop my life climb. Yeah, I might have to put my socks on a little different now and take Tylenol for pain but I'm still climbing because I'm going to make it to the top even if life ain't no crystal stairway.
