All Is Now Paradise Poem by Mark Heathcote

All Is Now Paradise

You ask, so I say
I'm feeling fine.
I've just had some annual leave.
And I'll be back on Tuesday,
And I've missed you!
But I'm sorry I didn't
Find time to approach you.
Because it's too painful to explain
But I'll try to see if you'll forgive me.
If you'll give me a little more time
I'll bury my sorrows and entomb them.
All my melancholy

And like the sunshine, I'll whisper from a cloud.
All is now paradise outside!

You ask, so I say
I'm feeling fine.
But really, I'm cringing deep inside.
And I've missed you!
Oh, I'm hoping for a rainbow.
Will cross the great divide.
And touch you while you sleep
That's what I'm feeling at this moment.
But if you'd try and forgive me
If you'll give me a little more time
I'll bury my sorrows and entomb them.
All my insecurities are melancholy.

And like the sunshine, I'll whisper from a cloud.
All is now paradise outside!
