All My Foes Whisper (Proverbs 41) Poem by JoAnn McGrath

All My Foes Whisper (Proverbs 41)

'All my foes whisper together against me;
against me they imagine the worst.'
But only through you holy Lord
you have pity on me lifting this curse

Even a friend who raised a heal against me
breaking the honor of trust.
Partook of the bread that I shared
leaving me crumbs of the crust.

I know that you love me by this...
That my enemy doesn't win over me
You'll let me stand before you forever
because you sustain my integrity.

This is a beautiful poem touching, it shows a generous and loving spirit. I am not really into spirtiual poems but this caught my attention. You are quite the writer with all you write plus work full time, take care of a husband and family and your Mom when she's ill, To do all this and have this ability to write so well and so many is remarkable and you should give yourself credit. I see you've switched to my way of not votes but this is an A+......marci. :)
