Alone Poem by Val Davis

Alone

Rating: 5.0

Sitting here all by
Myself
Thinking over a hidden
Wealth
Of untamed thoughts all my
Own
Sometimes it's nice to be
Alone

But must I be alone forever?
Is there one to break this tether?
That ties my heart so close and tight,
To reconvince me Love is right

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is the only one of my poems I have memorized. I am unsure when in 2011 I wrote this due to psychosis. It started as one stanza and stayed that way for some time until one day the second stanza just kinda fell out of my head.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

A creative and compelling composition that is pregnant with passion! Well done!
