Alone And Bored Poem by Randy McClave

Alone And Bored

I am so bored
Like an unused Samurai sword,
I want to go out and explore
And do so much more.
I just want to leave my home
Travel to Japan or even Rome,
I want to go to the beach
Where people are not out of reach.
I want to have a party
Where everyone is hearty,
I hate this being alone
Nobody is nearby or known.
I want to go back to the boxing club
Or even to a Scottish pub,
I want to talk to and help people again
And maybe take a left on the chin.
I want to again meet with my pals
Both guys and gals,
I want to again go out on a date
I am ready without thought or to hesitate.
Then I remembered my last relationship
With all the lying, cheating and lip,
Pain and hurt was my reward
Now, I truly don't mind being alone and bored.
