American Terrorists Poem by Randy McClave

American Terrorists

I remember when terrorists were all overseas
They did what they did to please,
They enjoyed bringing heartbreak, fear and strife
And they enjoyed taking an innocent life.
They of course spoke in many different tongues
Hate, racism and bigotry was screamed from their lungs,
And of course they had a different colored skin
And that of course they say made them bad men.
So, we as one stood and we fought against them
As we praised our flag and we sang a hymn,
For justice and equality and freedom we all did fight
Then suddenly, we lost sight.
Now in America the terrorists they are now here
They carry a Confederate flag with pride and cheer,
They are the same color as me and speak as I do
And they all wear and pledge to the red, white and blue.
