A former First Lady
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Becoming President
And a former President
William Jefferson Clinton
Becoming the First Gentleman
The first time
In World History
Roles have been reversed
Election Day
Sixty-five days
And counting
You're an extraordinary gent To explain this amazing event, But it gives me great fears about the next four years: Will they be torment or punishment?

I detect irony in the lines, 'And a former President/ William Jefferson Clinton/ Becoming the First Gentleman'. Bill Clinton hardly acted like a gentleman when he was in the White House. A poem which reminds you of unpleasant truths-so riveting.
