An Apartment Poem by Dorsey Baker

An Apartment

Rating: 5.0

An apartment
is no place for privacy
when the walls
are very thin
sounds go out
and sounds come in
An apartment
is very wide eyed
it is no
good place to hide
when you rent
an apartment
you pay the price
and hope
your neighbors
will be very nice
An apartment
is not a place of seclusion
always subject to
intrusion
An apartment
sometimes is
peace and contentment
most often
it can become a house
of confusion!

The plus and minus aspects of an apartment have been beautifully revealed in this equally beautifully poem that draws inference that there is no difference in an apartment and a railway compartment. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
