An Old Husband And A Bold Wife (14) (Deafness As A Disguised Bless) Poem by U Win Kyi

An Old Husband And A Bold Wife (14) (Deafness As A Disguised Bless)

The bold wife loved to nag.
The old husband was very sad.
He was afraid to talk back.
His hurt feeling was kept,
for a long time in his chest.
Her remarks were piercing like a jab.
So sad, for many nights he silently wept.
It almost led
to a suicidal dealth,
because she gave him disrespect.

Now he can't hear what she said,
because he is growing very old and deaf.
He can't hear even she busted like a gun-powder keg.
He is fully blessed
for his best interest.
