And Only Wind Blows Came Poem by Manonton Dalan

And Only Wind Blows Came

on a river bend a giant file
from broken branches to toys
frogs shelter from torching sun
as river flow receding everyday
rocks outcropping rough surfaces
reflecting glittering lights

cows dragging their feet, drinking
some soothe their burning skin
turning water to muddy brown
painting a ribbon-like streak
beneath this great banyan tree
i could clearly see and i sweat
