Angels Poem by Naomi Waters

Angels

Rating: 4.3

I hear their cries
I hear their song
They shine like the sun but I do not turn away
I cant decribe them
Couldnt even if I waned to
But I can try
They are brighter than the stars
Purer than gold
Smoother than the smoothest pearl
They are peace and love
They are tougher than steal and taller than the universe
Is there even a name worthy enough to call them
I feel as if as soon as they leave
I will forget them
So I hold on
Begging them to stay
But they ignore me
Acceptance and regret wash over me
They spread their glorious wings
And fly away
Carrying her precious soul with them
I will miss them
And I will miss her
Buy maybe just maybe
I will see the angels again

Poetry and angels go together well, I wrote one for a friend involving angels called Colors, your expression...taller than the universe is an awesome term, wonderful poetry here!
