Anything For A Few Bucks Poem by Hebert Logerie

Anything For A Few Bucks

Money walks, money talks
Anything for a few bucks
Money is the king of all evils
Money is the queen of the devils
Money rules, money drools
Money walks, the evil rules
Money talks, the devil fools
And tricks people all the time
Nobody will pay for the crime
Stop and think. You know what
I am talking about. Let's chat
About all recent events
Shame, shame, our complaints
Will be dismissed, discarded
Ignored and outright rejected
Money walks, and the blue shirt talks
As we watch the moon walks
This world is more immoral
Things are out of control
No remorse, no morals, no regrets
No excuses, no sorry, no respect
Anything for a few bucks
People lie. Bring the forks
For respectable guests right now
We are celebrating. Sacrifice a cow
And a goat for the event. Money talks
Bring the money, and the trucks
Full of it. Money walks
And the donkey talks
Charabia for a few bucks
Gibberish because life sucks.
