As I Am

As i said,
I am broken,
As i said,
I am down,
As i said,
My heart's like walking through,
A silent ghost town.
As i said,
I do cry,
As i said,
I will try,
As i said,
I will Stand on my feat,
as i said,
I will not take defeat,
As i am,
You will accept me,
As i am,
I will stand tall,
As I am,
You will have to see,
That i won't ever fall.
But that's difficult because.
I am broken,
I am down,
My heart's like walking,
through a silent ghost town.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,
And the voices of the Night
Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;
