Ashq
Jindagi ko maine asquon me baha diya
un ashqon se dil ki aag bujha diya
un ashqon ko pikar
jindagi ki pyas bujha diya
un ashquon se sare gile sikwe shikayat ko baha diya
aye jindagi!
tujhse main kya kahoon
a ashq hi hai jo jine ka ek bahana bana diya
kash a ashq n hote to phir
jine ka matlab hi kuch aur hota
n hum hote n tum hote
phir yeh jindagi veeran si hoti
un ashquon se sichkar
jindagi ko hara bhara bana diya
Beautiful write.... Tears is in fact sign of life too. if no tears it would be as good as dry land with no life in it.
Tears are not having the negative connotation always, rather, a sign of life...aching of the heart and tears of the eyes make us stand on the human pedestal...! ! !

Beautiful poem. I also read Shahzia Batool's translation 'Tears'. Nice feeling delivered in the poem - life without tears is world without ocean.
