At A Restaurant Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

At A Restaurant

Rating: 5.0

At a restaurant
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Wending his way through the crowd
And looking for his seat around
In New Year's Eve at a restaurant
There came a man drunk and lit
Spotting a lovely woman sitting alone
He came to her with a petition
"I beg your pardon lady sweet
For stumbling upon your feet"
But is it that I really stepped upon
Yes you did without any reaction
Then, said man, I am sure my dear
My seat must be around here

A Beautiful poem with wonderful flow of words. Many such things happens especially on New Years eve. I enjoyed reading the way you portrayed it. I beg your pardon lady sweet For stumbling upon your feet...

An interesting anecdote.....! On New Year's Eve, several such scenes take place, as many get intoxicated and lose their sanity! Hilarious!
