Autumn Love Poem by Ronald Strickland

Autumn Love

Rating: 3.8

Autumn leaves fall with grace so as not to
disturb the floor of the earth as it
gives cover to say farewell to the season.
Wildlife feeds on the fruits and nuts of the season's bounty.
As the coolness comes,
bringing the need for the comfort of warmth.
To cuddle with a loved one that also warms the heart,
and cheers the soul with a love that
will never grow old.
Smile, my love,
it's the time of the season
to remind you why I love you so.
The time we share has been more prosperous than all the world's gold.
So come closer, my love, and this you shall know
