Baby-Mothers Choice Poem by Sheldon Carruthers

Baby-Mothers Choice

A baby girl is murdered in the womb
by her mother?
by the Doctor?
by the government?
Where is her father
Mother has a right to choose? She chooses termination
but doesn't her baby girl have the right to live also
apparently not. Thus, rights are ignored, her life is abandoned.
Who speaks for the unborn child. Her mother does not
Her father has vanished. The government agrees with the mother
but the mother has the right to choose.
