Bad Love Poem by Barry Jablonski

Bad Love

Rating: 5.0

You took your love away from me
And stole the love I gave to thee
You will pretend to disagree….
I'm glad you finally set me free

What happened to the love we shared
That noble love we both declared
Now gone those feelings boldly dared
I know that once we must have cared

So leave without a backward glance
It's time we end this hurtful dance
Someday I'll take another chance
And maybe find my true romance

Lovely piece of poetry penned with insight. Love is a spiritual experience, it's also whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and sometimes may leave without warning. I like the articulation of the poem and the rhyme scheme. A nice piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
