Baking - Poem by bill costley

Baking for 1 hr. in the oven
will become an extravagance
no one can afford in a world
of desperate energy scarcity.

Comfort foods will become
raw, crunchy, locally grown,
preferably in your own garden,
like The Old Days (before oil.)

Remember? You’ll just have
to learn to imagine, then...
