Balloons (Cap Verse) Poem by Christopher Tye

Balloons (Cap Verse)

Rating: 5.0

Balloons (Cap Verse)

Rising skywards full of hot air,
Reaching for the skies lifted by helium gas,
Scores of balloons at children's parties,
Sculpted by artists into animals of colour,
Really amazing what you can do with a balloon,
Nothing lasts forever but at least a balloon can go out with a bang.

Unique and thoughtful. A common subject treated quite artistically. This is a wonderful poem. Thanks.
