Bank Burned Houses Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Bank Burned Houses

houses were burned
sold when mortgages fell due
tax payer money was

poured into banks
banks could not fail
nice bank managers

could not be expected
to give up their gambling
breach of ethics policies

their millions in bonuses
fat cat bankers licked
customer cream from lips

bank customers
were evicted
into winter nights
