Be Happy For One Poem by James Walter Orr

There are paths that follow each tortuous turn,
And our feet bleed as we wander on.
Sometimes an oasis can make our heart burn,
But before we can reach it, it's gone.

When one has the luck to reach at the right time,
While the hand of another is out;
The sun, stars and moon have created a clime
Where love springs up and grows all about.

When one has the fortune to find one's self so,
We should all feel a glow in our heart.
Be happy for one with a life that will grow
In a way that will not come apart.
