i envy spider by my window
has no problems that i know
her food will come easy
trap on that web; sticky
when rain comes she hides
beneath those folded leaves
she's been there since spring
doesn't have plan of vacating
i wonder where did she winter
it must be very warm shelter
now she's webbing her trap again
she didn't caught any but rain

I like observing the spider too. One spun a web by my deck. A very wise creature they are. And what you've said here is true. I think that we can learn a thing or two from them. A good write. 10
