Be Unto Others As Unto Me Poem by Winston Harding

Be Unto Others As Unto Me

Precious people of the universe
Seen daily, acts of destruction
Across the globe, people destroying
One another, for worldly treasure.
Love and respect taking backseat to
Pride, coveteousness, backbiting,
Wickedness; will peace ever be
Given a chance to reign supreme?

Hear me Lord; be unto me as You will
That I may touch the souls of your
Creation across the globe.
Be unto me as I pen this poem,
To bring a sense of urgency for
People to listen to Your Word,
Your warning and Your instruction
Of love and kindness to all.

The sound of Your Voice must be heard,
The impartation of Your unquestionable
Love shall bring peace and prosperity
To they who adore You and call You
Lord, Redeemer, King.
Be unto me as I rise to give
You praise and honour for Your
Guidance, protection and shelter.

May Your blessing continues to be seen
In the things I do, the words I speak.
And, may citizens of the universe
Come to behold Your glory in creation.
So be unto citizens of the globe,
As befitting their calling.
Shelter me within the stronghold
Of Your domain.
To You, glory, love, respect
And joyfulness be forevermore.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I woke up this morning, September 21,2013, and thought I should dedicate this poem to people of the world. Seeing and hearing of the destruction that is happenimg in this wonderful world, my spirit chilled. To you who read this, please come to a sense of understanding that we all belong on Planet Earth, as one. I bid you love, joy, respect and hope for a new awakening. Blessing.
Winston
