The sun sizzles like a barbecue
The sand is full of grains like my cereal
And is as crunchy as my toast
The seagulls glide with the wind
Just like falling leaves from a tree
The rock pools lie still and calm
The sea shimmers like silver
And is as clear as glass
The shells rattle in the breeze
The sea is cool and refreshing
But still as salty as my tears
Coral, sticks and seaweed are plenty
Along with fish every colour of the rainbow.
To me the beach is as precious as a jewel.
