Beginning Again Poem by Ruth Walters

Beginning Again

Rating: 4.0

Sometimes,
after a bacon sandwich,
followed by a strong mug of tea,
I sit down and ponder life
and then I ponder it some more,
and then I say to myself
if only I could begin again,
do it differently this time,
alter some things, make it perfect,
achieve goals I've never reached before.
So, I made another bacon sandwich,
only this time I added brown sauce,
and put three sugars in my tea.
Perfect!

A mug of tea is always good. And it's funny.
