Behind a screen

I reach my hand out
so that i may touch you

I feel like i get so close
that is until i hit the screen

You give a sweet smile
tell me how cute i am

You are a thousand miles away
but it feels like your right here with me

You are behind a screen
and if i can just get past it
Then maybe just maybe
I can finally touch you

I put my hand out again
Feel the cold glass screen stop me
A tear runs from my eye
Maybe next time
