Behind My Eyes Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

Behind My Eyes

At times I cry,
but I neither wake your ears,
nor let you see
the color of my tears.

I cry,
only when the pain
has risen above
a bearable threshold.

But where there is no one
to drink my tears,
I let my tears flow
into my heart

behind my eyes.
