Bena ≪3 Poem by Rachel Byrum

Bena ≪3

Rating: 5.0

I miss you more and more
Each and every day
I hate that cancer
That took you away
Away from me
I hate how i watched you fade
But i didn't have an answer
To make you all better
You always made me smile
And made me feel like i was a small child
I miss those nights
Sitting around watching TV
I miss sitting in church
Playing with your rings
I miss the way you used to laugh
I miss everything...

(Bena (Catherine Corinne Garvin Banton) , was my grandma, she battled cancer for about ten years. She may not have been related to me by blood but she was my grandma and i miss her like crazy.)
