Bestfriends Poem by Alexis Rogers

Bestfriends

Nothing could compare to the loss of a friend
It left my heart into pieces I can't mend
I will always remember the memories we shared
The thought of this is something I never bared
Until one day when you dropped me out of your life
Sometimes life doesn't work the way you want it to
I wish things would have worked out all the way through
But things change, people change
Although it may seem a little strange
People grow up, mature at different rates
I guess this one was just a simple act of fate
Nothing will ever bring you back to me
I wish things weren't as chancy
But as I look back at the memories we have
I also remember the fights we have

Very nice poem but rather sad. Friendship lost always brings pain.
