Billy's Depth Poem by Viola Grey

Billy's Depth

Rating: 4.4

I'm falling into you.
Depth ridden eyes
drag me under,
where I willingly
fall into oblivion.
I'm searching
beyond your crooked teeth
for salvation
inside your voice.
And, I'm found
within your cold fingers,
within your silent heart.
Inside you I am
surrendered,
encumbered,
awoken,
alive.

You don't need me to tell you how great you are.... but I think you're great!

Viola They say eyes are the windows of the soul and you have reflected your feelings so hauntingly in this poem. Your depths are as deep as all the blues skies in the sea. What a great poet you are! Karin Anderson
